Challenging my future

Challenge my future

Sharing is caring!

I woke up last week and I just knew I needed a change in my life. It is not that I hate anything about it. I am actually loving it right now but there was or is something missing and I couldn’t put my finger on it. Later that day, I remembered that there were some goals I had wanted to achieve but they had fallen to the wayside. I needed to challenge myself. I needed to challenge my future.

I am part of a fabulous group that I have talked about here, New Generation Mentoring Group. We are a group of women who hold each accountable to influencing the marketplace using our vast gifts. That day,as I was working at my desk, I looked up and landed on my vision board. Yes, my vision board is right before my desk. Anyway, I was inspired to ask the ladies on our whatsapp group to share what they have ticked off on their vision boards. Our visions are divided into one year, three, five and ten years.

Challenge my future

“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.”

C.S. Lewis

My goodness, what the ladies shared. CChhheeeiii… I knew I knew amazing ladies but ddaaammmnnn…the things these ladies were doing. EEii they challenged my future. One had increased her income stream to three and was working it up to seven. Seven ya’ll!! Another was getting certified as a mentor and a coach. Another had improved on her self care and had fun days every week. Aaayyyiii! Honestly, I was like Girl, what have you been up to? You need to be serious!! And so the 100-day challenge came up

Listen as your day unfolds
Challenge what the future holds
Try and keep your head up to the sky
Lovers, they may cause you tears
Go ahead, release your fears
Stand up and be counted
Don’t be ashamed to cry

You Gotta Be- Des’ree

Challenge my future

The 100 day challenge was originally created by Gary Blair. He is known as the goal guy. I am not following his program though I think it is cool. I am structuring my own. I start mine today 23rd August, all the way to 30th November. I am excited and apprehensive but I also wait in eager anticipation of what God is going to do through me in this time because it is all about working on my relationship with Him, myself and purpose.

What are you doing about the next 100 days? This brings us smack dap into the last month of 2021. Imagine how time has flown. I hope you too can challenge yourself in the next few days. It doesn’t have to be 100 days. Even 7 or 21 days can work. It’s just you putting aside time to work on what’s important to you. Because we are challenging our future. This is me!

Please share in the comments section, what you are purposing to do?
